I witnessed these interchanges with Hannah and Kate:

It was Kate's birthday and we were finishing up a fine dinner at a restaurant.  

Leaving the table, Hannah says, "It is my honor....to tell you....as the birthday girl....that you can carry my leftover pasta."

The sisters were hanging out, and Hannah did or said something funny.    

Kate:  Hannah, you're awesome.

Hannah (seriously):  I know that part already.
